Traditionally, any quad-steer trailer is difficult to move manually. You have to straddle the tongue, bend over while pushing or pulling the trailer into position. This is awkward with the potential for a back injury. But, the“Hybrid’s” ergonomically correct method of maneuvering the trailer keeps you safe from injury. The only thing that you do is lift the tongue and latch it in the upright position. This locks out the quad-steering mechanism and the “Hybrid” now becomes a platform cart.
This dual-purpose function is particularly important when considering manual positioning requirements for order picking, work station and assembly cell replenishment, lean manufacturing, and other material handling requirements. |
